Paper, stamping & gift wrap — how we pick and size them

Paper craft is a volume habit: a card uses a dozen small things and none of them cost much on their own. That is why this aisle is organised by size rather than by theme. Punches from 1/4 inch circles to 3 inch borders. Cutting dies for frames, tags and lettering. Clear stamps and self inking stamps. Quilling strips, slotted tools and curling coaches for rolled paper work. Corner rounders, scoring boards, bone folders and guillotine trimmers.

Questions we get at the punches shelf

Will these punches go through cardstock?

Up to about 200gsm, yes. Heavier board wants the lever punches rather than the squeeze ones, and both are listed with the paper weight they were tested against.

Do the dies fit my cutting machine?

They are thin metal dies for roller sandwiches. The listing gives the plate thickness they were cut on, which is the number your machine's manual asks for.

How long does a stamp pad last?

Months of weekly use, and longer stored face down. Re-inkers sit in the same bay, so a dry pad is a refill rather than a replacement.
