The badges, lanyards & signage aisle at the PATIKIL counter

Badges, lanyards & signage — how we pick and size them

This aisle exists because a pass that lives in a pocket is a pass you will be asked for at the worst moment. Our lanyards come flat and round, in polyester and nylon, with breakaway clasps as standard — a lanyard that does not release is a hazard, not an accessory. Retractable badge reels pull to 60cm and return without snatching. Rigid and soft card holders take a standard 86 by 54mm card, landscape or portrait, single or double sided.

What sits next to what

Signage shares the shelf. Door signs in acrylic and brushed metal, slider signs for in use and vacant, desk name plates, adhesive labels, index tabs and self inking stamps. Business card holders in acrylic, metal and wood sit at the front counter end of it. All of it is the same idea: make the information findable so nobody has to ask a question twice.

Questions we get at the lanyards shelf

Do the lanyards have a safety break?

Most do, and the listing says so plainly. If you work near machinery, buy only the ones that name a breakaway clasp.

How far do the badge reels pull out?

Between 60 and 90cm of cord depending on the model, which reaches a reader at waist height without unclipping anything.

Are the sign holders portrait or landscape?

Both exist, and the listing names the orientation and the sheet size. The acrylic T-frames take a standard letter or A4 sheet without trimming.
