  • First off... unusual usage. The newer Yamahas use a 16mm threaded handlebar, while most bikes use an M6-M10 nut inside of the bar. Secondly, the 2022 XSR900 has the bars stick out past the grips (unlike earlier years). This makes finding plugs/ends/mirror mounts a LITTLE trickier if you want to avoid the bulky purpose made stuff. They are SLIGHTLY smaller diameter than the handlebars. Not enough to really see... but enough that I wouldn't want a mirror clamp to bridge between the 2. With a washer, you could use them to replace the VERY heavy ginormous oem bolt (pictured).   • I used these to plug brake fittings while forming new metal lines. I wouldn't expose the included o-rings to high pressure, or to brake fluid long term, but they kept fluid from trickling out. They can also be used with a union to do the same for lines.
