What this bin holds
Our housed case wirewound resistors help manage electrical current in circuits. They are built for stability and can handle challenging conditions.
We provide four aluminum-housed wirewound resistors, each rated for 50 watts and 5 ohms, with a 5% tolerance. They come in gold tone, red, and blue. Each resistor measures 50 x 16 x 15mm (2 x 0.63 x 0.6 inches) with a 3.5mm (0.14 inch) mounting hole diameter. The aluminum casing includes cooling grooves, which helps them handle high temperatures and overloads.

Who takes it home
These aluminum load resistors are often used in lighting products, audio systems, frequency converters, and industrial controls. They are designed for chassis mounting with screws. Remember that these resistors will get hot during operation, so mount them on a metal board, never on flammable materials like plastic or wood.
