  • I was installing a new bath surround in my basement bathroom. The seven inch duct pipe above prevented installation. Since the duct was feeding on vent, I changed it iver to a four inch flex and altered the rout a bit. It worked great. The large side is female, so you will need to crimp the pipe down stream. The room warms better than before. Consult a professional HVAC tech before altering your ducts. I took a big chance. The reducers are of high quality.
