What this bin holds
Our vinyl-coated stainless steel security cables offer a strong yet flexible solution for locking your belongings. They help protect against theft while preventing scratches.
This pack includes two red security cables, each 50cm (19.6 inches or 1.6 feet) long, with a wire diameter of 3mm (0.11 inch). We make these from stainless steel with an external vinyl coating. This coating protects surfaces from scratches and guards against weather effects, while the cable remains flexible enough to bend easily.

I purchased this for my ebicycle, to deter theft of my quick release seat. This 5/32" cable is just enough to keep an honest person honest. Wrapped around my seat underside twisted down my seat pole and bolted down with my cargo carrier. This provides just enough trouble to stop the unplanned thief. Yet still allows my kids to changed the seat height easily. While the black coating allows it to blend in to your bicycle normal appearance.

rebecca Cappello · 5 of 5 These covered metal cords with a vinyl sheath are the perfect length, strength, attachment points and flexibility for traveling, especially on a plane. When I fly, I have to put my small bag under my foot area and often can't get it out because its wedged at the end of my foot. I'm going to use one of these metal cords and attach a caribiner to one end of this cord (which will also be attached to my bad) and attach the other end with a carabiner to the webbing in front of the seat back on the airplane seat, or if that's not available as a leash to my bag to my seat belt.
