These cemented carbide twist jobber bits are for drilling high-hardness materials. Their design offers stability and self-centering, even in tough applications.

This twist drill bit has a 1.4 mm cutting diameter, a 20 mm flute length, and a 40 mm overall length. We make it from cemented carbide, known for its high hardness, wear resistance, and thermal stability. The 130° point angle enhances cutting stability and helps the drill self-center.

Who takes it home

This bit is often used in industrial drilling for materials like hardened steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and titanium alloys. For best results, use a rigid machine tool and a high-precision drill chuck to avoid vibration, which can damage carbide bits.

What makers wrote about this bin

  • Cut through stainless steel like butter! Excellent value for the money, will buy again if necessary. Although I would not recommend this bit for a hand drill, it would work great for a lathe or drill press.

  • This drill bit drilled right through my hardened steel bar like butter! And I was even using a hand drill, not a bench drill which is what is preferred for steady pressure. I was surprised at how quick and well it worked. Make sure you run your drill at slow speed. Trust the bit :)))

  • Works well in my mini lathe. The bit is very sharp and true to size. I would buy other size drills from this company as the need arises.
