We craft these lamp bases from solid wood and finish them in black, protecting surfaces from scratches. Each base measures 10cm (4 inches) on top, 12cm (4.75 inches) at the bottom, and 3cm (1.2 inches) in height. There's a 10mm center hole and an 8mm side hole for wiring. We ship them as a pair.

The predrilled holes thread the wire easily and the center hole aligns with lamp conduit perfectly. The finish seems solid and never scratched or scuffed during assembly of the lamp.
