  • I was recently re-educated on the fact that these WILL indeed with with metal containers. I was under the impression that they were only for glass or plastic but they work just fine with aluminum tins - just make sure there is no oil of the rim of the tin. Adding these discs in addition to the plain foam disc liner helps make a tighter seal...just make sure it is fully pushed down around the edges for ease of tightening. I will definitely buy these again
