  • they firmly grip the knife blade, so they will not fall off. and are slotted for ventilation, so will not trap any water inside after you clean the knife. the first kife i tried was too short for the holder, so i just used a hacksaw to cut off 7 slotted sections, and it fits fine now. they are sized for large chef's knives
