  • This works in a cap for a compression fitting that accepts a 1/4" line (like a T valve for a reverse osmosis refrigerator tube). The washer outer diameter is slightly too big but I was able to put it down into the cap evenly with a screw driver drill bit. I used two of them in the cap of the the T valve side output I no longer needed. There was a slow drip (about 2-3 drops a day) that went away after using this washer. The washer hole is just slightly smaller than the fitting opening so it can be used on other metal to metal fitting connections like compression unions or size adapters that…

  • Replaced the bump feed head on my string trimmer with a fixed head to reduce vibrations. Needed an isolator and washer to hold existing plates and drive in place. Thieve washers are the perfect size. Combined with a washer and spacer the fixed head has reduced the vibrations to my hands.
