  • There are tons of rubber/silicone fan mounts for case holes, but I could find almost nothing for case slots where the fan can be moved up or down and the mount had to be tight enough to keep it from sliding down--and it was not for lack of looking. These work, though ideally you'd be able to buy rubber or silicone washers along with self-tapping fan screws with the unthreaded area for the washers--the next best thing is I combined these with fan screws I ordered elsewhere that came with metal washers they called "anti-vibration" for some reason. I had a fan with an inaudible hum when removed…
