What this bin holds

This dry diamond core drill bit set provides precision for drilling into hard materials. It’s designed for clean, consistent holes without needing water initially.

This set includes five diamond core drill bits: 15/64" (6mm), 5/16" (8mm), 3/8" (10mm), 15/32" (12mm), and 9/16" (14mm). Each bit has premium diamond grit (50/60 mesh) and a high-strength steel body for durability. Built-in wax keeps the bit cool, so no water is needed at first.

Who takes it home

This drill bit set is for those working with tiles, marble, ceramic, vitrified tiles, and quartz using a hand drill or other rotary tools. Start drilling at a 45° angle, then move to vertical. Once the wax runs out, add water to continue drilling and extend the bit's life.

What makers wrote about this bin

  • I ordered this diamond bit set by PATIKIL to drill through ceramic backsplash tile in order to hang an over-the-range microwave at a renovation project I’m working on. Some of the microwave screws went into studs and others needed toggle bolts to secure it, so I appreciate the range of sizes that this diamond bit set came with. At five bits, the set is a great value. I like how each bit is stored in a plastic threaded tube labeled with the bit size. Although each bit is also labeled, if you drill, you know that the writing on the bits themselves can become worn away with use, so having the…

  • If you have never used these style of bits there's a bit of a learning curve compared to the typical tile or glass bit. First, the speed is and pressure will depend on the type of material you are drilling into, so going slower should be preferable to full throttle. Second, using water is recommended to keep the bit clean and cool. You should also move to different holes or stop every 5 to 10 seconds to let the bit and material being drilled to stay cool. The final thing is that you have to start at an angle and then straighten out after you begin to cut. You don't want to start dead on or…
