What this bin holds

We created these clay wedging boards for ceramic artists to prepare and dry their clay. They help manage moisture and prevent clay from sticking during wedging.

This set includes eight ceramic drying boards, each 127mm in diameter and 6mm thick. We make them from high-density wood material, which resists clay adhesion and absorbs moisture well. The surface has a slight grip to keep clay in place during wedging.

Who takes it home

Potters use these boards to quickly dry wet clay models due to their strong water absorption. You can also use them as portable work surfaces for various crafts like outdoor painting or glass work. For best results, slightly wet the board before use to reduce its initial absorbency.
