  • Nice and well made. I spray painted it white to avoid any potential rusting since my dryer vent unit is located on the second story side of the house and not accessible without a very tall ladder. Small screen inside and it should do the trick to replace the plastic vents normally used. I am trying this one because birds seem to love destroying the plastic ones to make a nice nest. I’ve been in my house 11 yrs and this is the third time I have had to replace the louvered vented ones. I did modify the unit by adding a plastic covering around it before I secured it to the house so it had a nice…

  • I'm using it to vent a diesel heater into a camper. It is perfect for that purpose. The side opening directs the heated air away from people and creates a circulating vortex for better heat distribution. HOWEVER - the inside edges of the outlet cutout were not deburred, leaving a razor edged burr which I had to clean up to keep anyone (grandkids...) from slicing their fingers open. I would buy again.
