  • I have a trophy clock that stopped working. I searched for a replacement quartz movement but could find none with a short enough stem to fit the hands under the glass cover. I decided to replace the entire clock works but could find none with a mounting hole size as big as the old one. I selected this one because it has a rubber ring around its outside that provides the friction to keep it in a mounting hole. This rubber ring can be removed and reinstalled after increasing the diameter of the works with some foam tape. The result worked perfectly and I now have a working clock back in my…
