  • These are highly polished gold. They are quite nice and can be used either on a European lamp or American lamp. They are likely zinc and do the job at a reasonable price.

  • These finials are metallic and were a good replacement for my existing finials. I'm happy with them. One slight "problem" I had was that the M10 to 1/4-27 adapter did not stay in the finial and instead tended to bind to the lamp when I unscrewed the finial from the lamp. To solve that problem, with a bolt screwed into the finial (you might need a nut to stop the bolt), I spread a little Loctite onto the adapter threads and used the bolt to screw the adapter into the finial. After about 20 minutes, you can remove the bolt and mount the finial onto your lamp. Just be careful to not screw the…
