  • OK I am D and I'm a bulb head. I have three times as many flashlights of all sizes than just the Maglites. I buy used Maglites of all sizes except one where the new LED costs less than the bulb replace with LED bulb or kit. I upgrade them to LED and use D Cell adapters that use two AA batteries in a plastic case so I don't have to buy rechargeable D cells and can use my AA Rechargeable Li-Ion or NimH. Some of the OEM plastic lenses are badly scratched and these are really clear and fit perfectly. They even came with new lens gaskets. I keep silicone gasket grease for my watches when I…

  • Own multiple 3 cell D Maglites. Good price for three of them. Fit perfectly, appears to be a decent quality, plus glass is more scratch resistant over the clear plastic. Super easy to install. Cleaned the threads of dirt/grit, applied a thin coat of silicone grease and it screwed on silky smooth. No issues, happy with my purchase.
