  • These door-handle stoppers are a great idea, but of course only useful if they fit. I measured the inner diameter at 18 mm, and that’s the critical measurement that needs to match your door-handle diameter. The stopper will expand by a few millimeters—maybe 3 or 4—but the material is fairly stiff (PVC, according to the listing). You can soften it a bit by placing it in hot water, waiting a moment, and then installing it using heat-proof gloves.
